Three ways a conversation starts

Handback is built for A2H, agent to human: an AI-native way for a question to reach the right person with what they need to decide, and for the answer to come back where it was asked.

A session asks

From Claude Code through the plugin's skills, from any script through the CLI, from a Claude chat through the connector. The AI writes the request with its evidence and its recommendation, then waits for the answer.

You ask someone

A question from you to anyone, no AI involved: options, your recommendation if you have one, and every answer back in the same inbox.

A meeting asks the room

In a live room, a question goes to everyone present: on the wall, and on the phone of whoever joined with the room's code.

Anyone can answer

Every request and every questionnaire has its own link. The person opens it in a browser and answers: no account, no app. People who have Handback get it in the app.

The explanation comes with it, with charts, tables and images, and the full reasoning is one tap away.

A file can travel both ways: a question can ask for one, and anything the session produced comes with a Download row that says its name and size.

Nothing moves without a person

  • A request an AI writes for other people is reviewed before it goes out, as strictly as your setting says, and always the first time it goes to someone outside.
  • An answer from someone else is reviewed before the session reads it. That is what keeps a stranger's words from becoming instructions to your AI, and when the session does read them, they arrive marked as someone's words.
  • The first answer from an address you haven't trusted yet always waits for you.
  • A question that can't be undone is never answered from a notification.
  • Only a person can answer. A computer can ask, but it can't approve its own request.
  • Every gate is your setting. A session can tighten it for its own request, never loosen it.

Meetings with an AI in the room

Not notes after the meeting: help during it. Handback joins the room, shows the pack on the wall, answers from your documents with the source, asks the room and shows the tally live, keeps the decisions and actions, and closes with the minutes, the record and a questionnaire for what was left open.

Decisions you can find again

Every decision keeps its context, who decided and from where, in the project's log. A meeting leaves its record, and each person in it gets a follow-up page with what is theirs to do.
